Ola Electric scooter's battery dips 18% in 500 m, consumer panel orders refund

A Thane consumer panel ordered Ola Electric to replace a consumer's faulty electric scooter or provide a refund for "sheer deficiency" in customer service. The scooter broke down repeatedly only two days after delivery, and its battery once dipped 18% while being driven for just 500 metres. The panel said Ola Electric neglected the complaints until the customer went public.
