Old clip of TN police beating man surfaces amid custodial death row

An old video has surfaced showing police personnel beating a man named Ramesh inside a police station in Tamil Nadu’s Theni, amid ongoing row over alleged custodial death of a temple security guard in Sivaganga. The video is reportedly from January 14 this year. Police said the man was drunk and was taken into custody for creating nuisance, NDTV reported.
