Old Monk sale ban to continue in Maha as HC refuses to pause FSSAI's restrictions

Bombay High Court has refused to grant an immediate interim stay on FSSAI's sales prohibition against Old Monk in Maharashtra. The court questioned "7 years old blended" label, observing that it could lead consumers to believe the entire spirit had been aged for seven years. The manufacturer agreed to revise its labels, while FSSAI sought more time to examine them.
