A split-screen video showing Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan eating a meal alongside footage of activist Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike at Jantar Mantar went viral, falsely implying that both events were happening simultaneously. BOOM found that Pradhan's video was from a Pakhal Diwas celebration at his official residence in Delhi in 2024 and was unrelated to Wangchuk's hunger strike.
