Older vehicles cannot be made E30 fuel-compliant: BMW India head

Hardeep Singh Brar, CEO of BMW Group India, addressed the issue of higher ethanol blends and their impact on existing vehicles. When asked whether older BMW and MINI vehicles could be made E30 fuel-compliant, Brar indicated that such a transition would not be possible. He said the effects of higher ethanol content need to be studied thoroughly before implementation.
