Olympian Eileen Gu wears dress blowing bubbles in air at Met Gala
Olympian Eileen Gu wore a dress that blew actual bubbles in the air at Met Gala. The "futuristic couture" piece by Irish designer Iris van Herpen featured 15,000 glass bubbles and took 2,550 hours to create. The designer explained that hidden microprocessors within the garment coordinated the release of pressurised gas, enabling bubbles to form and float as she moved.
