Olympic swimmer Ana Vieira sneaks out of athletes' village to meet boyfriend; expelled

Brazilian swimmer Ana Carolina Vieira has been expelled from the 2024 Paris Olympics after she snuck out of the athletes' village without permission to spend a night in Paris with her boyfriend, fellow Olympic swimmer Gabriel Santos. "Carolina, in a disrespectful...manner, contested a technical decision made by the Brazilian National Swimming Team committee," the Brazilian Olympic Committee said.
