Olympics 2024 participant Rebecca set on fire by her boyfriend in Kenya

Ugandan marathon runner Rebecca Cheptegei, who competed in the Olympic Games in Paris, has been hospitalised in neighbouring Kenya after being set on fire by her boyfriend. Kenyan police said that Rebecca was doused in petrol and set alight by her Kenyan boyfriend Dickson Ndiema Marangach. Police added that Marangach also suffered burns in the blaze.
