Oman opens temporary toll-free corridor for vessels passing Hormuz

Oman has announced the opening of a temporary toll-free maritime corridor for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The measure is introduced in coordination with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and in line with the recent outcomes reached by the US and Iran, it said. Vessels wanting to use the temporary corridor would need to coordinate with the IMO.
