Omar Abdullah urges PM Modi to restore J&K statehood on his birthday

J&K CM Omar Abdullah, on PM Modi's 76th birthday, renewed his demand for statehood restoration, saying only verbal assurances were received. He noted the Centre promised statehood after delimitation and elections, but it hasn't materialised. Omar also advised Ladakh leaders to get any government commitments in writing.
