Once an insurgent, ex-Mizoram CM Zoramthanga collects BA degree 60 years later

Former Mizoram CM and Mizo National Front president Zoramthanga, 82, officially received his bachelor's degree certificate from Gauhati University, 60 years after appearing for his final exams in 1966. He joined the MNF in 1965 and later went underground during its armed insurgency. Following the 1986 Mizoram Accord, he entered politics and served three terms as CM starting in 1998.
