One dead, several hurt in bus accident in Karnataka's Puttur

A tragic road accident occurred late Sunday night near Lavathadka, in Puttur, close to Nelyady on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway, when a private sleeper bus collided with a parked Hitachi machine. The fatal crash resulted in the death of Shankernarayana Bhat, a resident of Karkala. Several other passengers aboard the bus sustained injuries in the collision.
