One person was killed and 20 others injured when an amusement park ride in Chennai broke into pieces and flung its occupants into the air on Wednesday, according to reports. The accident, which occurred during the trial run of a merry-go-round at Kishkinta Theme Park, was blamed on a mechanical fault. The police have registered an FIR regarding the incident.
