One of India's largest firms, Tata Sons, to go public as RBI rejects bid: Report

Tata Sons, one of the largest companies in India, is set to face a mandatory listing after RBI rejected its application to surrender its certificate of registration as an NBFC, CNBC-TV18 reported. The company was first classified as an upper-layer NBFC in September 2022, putting its original listing deadline in September 2025. It had applied for deregistration in March 2024.
