Indonesian authorities on Monday closed brothel areas and demolished one of the oldest red-light district Kalijodo in capital Jakarta. Mayor Rustam Effendi said a public park would come up in the area while overseeing the demolition of the illegal buildings and bars. Thousands living in the area left days before the demolition.
