One third of Delhi voters could be deleted from draft SIR roll

One in three voters registered in Delhi could be deleted in the draft electoral roll to be published on August 24 under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. Forms of only 97.47 lakh electors were collected and uploaded to the official portal. This is about 67% of the 1.45 crore names on the electoral rolls when the exercise began.
