One US President took oath of office on an aeroplane

Lyndon Baines Johnson was sworn in as US President aboard Air Force One at Love Field in Dallas, Texas, after assassination of President John F Kennedy in 1963. It was the first time a woman administered the oath of office. It was also the first and and only time a US President took the oath of office on an aeroplane.
