The net profit of ONGC, India’s largest oil and gas explorer, rose 44.3% to Rs 4,889 crore in the fourth quarter ended 31 March. However, the revenue dipped by 2.3% to Rs.21,403 crore. On yearly basis, ONGC registered a 5.6% increase in net profit to Rs.22,095 crore in 2013-14 on a 1.1% increase in annual revenue to Rs.84,201 crore.
