ONGC becomes 1st E&P company to trade domestic gas on IGX

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Monday announced it has become the first exploration and production (E&P) company to trade domestic gas on online delivery-based gas trading platform Indian Gas Exchange (IGX). ONGC said the gas traded was from ONGC Krishna Godavari 98/2 block. "The quantity sold by ONGC through the gas exchange will be enhanced slowly," it added.
