Online dating is partially to be blamed for the increasing household income inequality in the US, according to a research. The study found that people are increasingly marrying someone with the same income, education and skill levels. The increasing prevalence of finding partners through dating apps has led to a 3-percentage-point increase in Gini coefficient, a measure of income inequality.
