Only 3% of sunlight reaches the Amazon rainforest: Paul Rosolie
Paul Rosolie, conservationist, said the Amazon rainforest canopy is so dense that only 3% of sunlight reaches the ground during the day. At night without a moon, he said it feels like being inside a black hole, completely blind, surrounded by the sounds of predators with night vision. "We are at a severe disadvantage," he said.
