Mumbai Aqua Line sees low ridership, MMRC optimistic for June 2025

Mumbai Aqua Line (Metro 3), running from BKC to Aarey Colony, has seen disappointing ridership since its partial launch in October 2024, with fewer than 20,000 passengers daily. Despite this, the MMRC remains optimistic, citing a punctuality rate of 99.60% and hoping ridership will improve once the full corridor opens in June 2025.
