Only 87L applied for 1.09 Cr job openings in FY24: Govt Portal NCS

In FY24, there were more government job openings than applicants, per the National Career Service. Over 87 lakh folks registered for 1.09 crore vacancies! The opportunities skyrocketed for those with a 10th-grade education or less. Graduates and postgraduates saw increases too. Finance and insurance topped the sectors. Officials credit the boom to Modi govt's economic policies.
