Only devotional or patriotic films are greenlit nowadays: Kashyap

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap criticised the lack of genre diversity in Bollywood films, highlighting the recent wave of patriotic and devotional titles. "You can make either a patriotic or a devotional film. Otherwise, nothing else is getting greenlit. That's a fact and a tragedy," said Anurag. Films including 'Dhurandhar 2', 'Hanuman Ansh', 'Border 2' and 'Batwara 1947' were released this year.
