Only one hat-trick has been taken in Champions Trophy history

In the history of the Champions Trophy tournament, only one player has taken a hat-trick so far. West Indies pacer Jerome Taylor took a hat-trick against Australia in 2006, dismissing Michael Hussey, Brad Hogg and Brett Lee. Notably, it was also the first ODI hat-trick by a West Indies bowler. The Brian Lara-led side beat Australia by 10 runs.
