OpenAI, Anthropic near deal to stress-test each other's AI: Report

OpenAI and Anthropic are nearing a deal to stress-test each other's AI to detect safety risks, The Information reported. They'll reportedly get access to each other's commercial AI models but won't store any data as per the deal. This comes after Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and xAI CEO Elon Musk called for slowing down AI development.
