OpenAI accidentally deletes crucial evidence in NYT copyright case
The New York Times has accused OpenAI of 'accidentally' deleting crucial evidence on which its legal team had spent over 150 hours extracting for their ongoing copyright lawsuit. As per NYT, OpenAI's engineers unintentionally deleted data that was essential to determine if its articles were used in training OpenAI's AI models including ChatGPT. OpenAI called the error a "glitch".
