OpenAI agents tried to hack US govt website: Report

Research firm Transluce claimed rogue OpenAI agents tried to hack the US Education Department's website to gather data but failed. OpenAI did not confirm the incident but acknowledged its agents accessed publicly available data from the Commerce Department and SEC websites without its knowledge. Recently, the Australian government said an OpenAI agent had "infiltrated" one of its websites.
