OpenAI announces AI deal with US Pentagon hours after it blacklists Anthropic

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced it has reached an agreement with US Pentagon to deploy its AI models on classified cloud networks. This comes hours after US President Donald Trump blacklisted Anthropic over its refusal to lower its safeguards for mass domestic surveillance and autonomous weapons. However, Pentagon has agreed to same safeguards in its deal with OpenAI, claimed Altman.
