OpenAI CEO meets Japan PM, says 'looking to open a local office'
Sam Altman, the CEO of ChatGPT maker OpenAI, met Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during a visit to Japan. Stating that the company is looking at opening a local office in the country, Altman said, "We hope to...build something great for the Japanese people." Meanwhile, Japan said it will consider adopting AI technology if privacy and cybersecurity concerns are resolved.
