OpenAI CEO Sam Altman reveals why Sora was shut down, says he felt 'terrible'

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed that "compute" was the key reason behind AI video app Sora's shutdown. He said the startup realised "something really important is working or about to work so...[they have] to stop a bunch of other projects". Adding that he "felt terrible", Altman stated Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro told him, "I get it," on being informed.
