OpenAI employee who put recording device in office was in touch with Saudi Royal Family member

US prosecutors have said the Saudi national arrested for secretly installing a recording device in an OpenAI building was in constant touch with a member of Saudi Royal Family. Prosecutors claimed the royal family member informed Abdulrahman Alfozan about an artificial intelligence initiative launching in Saudi Arabia and repeatedly tried to recruit him, asking when he planned to leave OpenAI.
