OpenAI ethics head Chloe Bakalar quits amid string of senior-level exits

OpenAI's AI ethics lead Chloe Bakalar has left the company less than a year after joining, amid growing scrutiny over its AI development. Bakalar joined the ChatGPT maker last August after serving as Meta's chief ethicist and departed last month without an announcement. Her exit follows recent departures of senior safety and alignment executives, including Johannes Heidecke and Joshua Achiam.
