OpenAI gifted 'Jackass' trophy to employee for confronting Elon Musk, court hears

OpenAI's Chief Futurist, Joshua Achiam, was gifted a trophy by colleagues that read "never stop being a jackass for safety" after he stood up to Elon Musk over AI safety concerns, a US court heard. Achiam told the court that Musk had "snapped" at him and called him a "jackass". OpenAI lawyers reportedly also brought the trophy to the trial.
