OpenAI hires ex-Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar as CFO, Kevin Weil as CPO

OpenAI on Monday announced it has hired Sarah Friar, former CEO of Nextdoor, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The firm also announced it has hired Kevin Weil, who has previously worked at Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as Chief Product Officer (CPO). "Sarah and Kevin bring a depth of experience that will enable OpenAI to scale operations," said CEO Sam Altman.
