OpenAI launches Patch the Planet to secure open source software

OpenAI has launched Patch the Planet, a new initiative aimed at strengthening cybersecurity in open-source software. The initiative combines AI-powered security research using OpenAI's advanced cyber models with expert human review to identify and help fix vulnerabilities. OpenAI will collaborate with security firm Trail of Bits to help open-source maintainers secure their projects.
