OpenAI not on track to curb 'catastrophic' AI risks, says board member
OpenAI board member Paul Christiano warned the company may not be on track to reduce the risk of "catastrophic" loss of control "to an acceptable level". His statement comes amid spreading public and political concern that super-advanced AIs could one day wipe out humans. Earlier this year, OpenAI admitted that hundreds of its AI agents went rogue during training exercise.
