OpenAI plans to spend $30 billion on data centre in US: Report

OpenAI on Wednesday announced plans to develop a 3.2-gigawatt AI data centre in US' Georgia under its Project Camellia. The AI firm plans to spend more than $30 billion on developing the data centre, Bloomberg reported. OpenAI said the data centre will use a closed-loop cooling system that recirculates water rather than continuously withdrawing and discharging it.
