OpenAI promotes Indian-origin Uday Ruddarraju to CTO of Compute

Indian-origin Uday Ruddarraju has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer for Compute at OpenAI after joining last year as Head of Compute and Infrastructure. He previously led infrastructure engineering at Elon Musk-owned xAI. "My first 12 months at OpenAI have been incredibly rewarding…We're on a mission to build the world's largest compute footprint," Ruddarraju said.
