OpenAI raises $6.6 billion funding at $157 billion valuation

ChatGPT-maker OpenAI has raised $6.6 billion from investors, giving the AI startup company a $157 billion post-money valuation. The funding has attracted returning venture capital investors including Thrive Capital and Khosla Ventures, as well as Microsoft, and new participation from Nvidia. Apple, which was in talks to invest in OpenAI, did not end up joining the funding, Reuters reported.
