OpenAI's biggest token spender uses 10,000 crore tokens a month: CEO Sam Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said the company's biggest internal AI token user now consumes about 10,000 crore tokens a month, up from roughly 1 lakh tokens six-and-a-half years ago. However, Altman said someone outside OpenAI spends even more, calling it a personal "embarrassment". He added that AI costs were not a problem earlier but have now become "a huge issue".
