OpenAI's new model solves 10 maths and computer science problems unsolved for a decade
An internal version of Astra, OpenAI's next major AI model, has solved 10 maths and theoretical computer science problems that had remained unresolved for at least a decade. The problems span areas including high-dimensional geometry, coding theory, operator algebras and quantum complexity. OpenAI said it cost around $2,000 (₹1.9 lakh) to solve them.
