OpenAI to launch its first-ever AI device later this year

OpenAI is set to unveil its first AI device in the second half of 2026, chief global affairs officer Chris Lehane said on Monday at Axios House Davos. Early reports suggest that the product could be an audio-focused wearable device. The physical product is being developed in collaboration with Jony Ive, the former legendary Apple design chief.
