OpenAI to reserve part of IPO shares for retail investors: CFO

OpenAI will reserve a portion of its shares for retail investors when it goes public, CFO Sarah Friar told CNBC. Friar further said the AI startup tested the waters in its latest $122-billion funding round and saw "really strong demand" from individuals. She highlighted SpaceX's model, which is planning to allocate about 30% for retail investors in its upcoming IPO.
