Opening ceremony for Champions Trophy cancelled, Rohit need not go to Pakistan: Report

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the ICC have cancelled their planned opening ceremony or captains photo-op, Cricbuzz reported. The captains' gathering has been cancelled due to tight travelling schedules of teams, the report added. Earlier, there was speculation around Rohit Sharma’s potential visit to Pakistan, but the India captain is now not required to travel there.
