Operation Drishti brings eye care to remote J&K border areas

J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said Operation Drishti reflects the Army’s commitment to healthcare in remote and border areas. The initiative conducted 446 cataract surgeries, including in Tangdhar, and screened over 1.5 lakh people. Sinha said the programme improved access to advanced eye care and strengthened ties between the Army and local communities.
