Opp'n casting doubts on Speaker undermines democracy: Shah on no-confidence motion

Criticising the Opposition for bringing a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Home Minister Amit Shah said casting doubts on Speaker undermines democracy. "After four decades, a no-confidence motion has been brought against Lok Sabha Speaker," he stated. "The Speaker does not belong to any party, but to Parliament," Shah added while speaking on no-confidence motion.
