Oppn blunders in no-confidence notice against LS Speaker Birla, mentions 2025 instead of 2026

The Opposition has resubmitted a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla after an error in the initial notice, which incorrectly cited the year 2025 instead of 2026. Reportedly, 118 MPs from Congress, Samajwadi Party, and DMK have signed the document, which mentioned the wrong year. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawala mocked Oppositon over the error, saying, "Congress lacks seriousness."
