Oppose govt using Hindi words for Bills & Acts: P Chidambaram

Congress leader P Chidambaram said he is opposed to "increasing practice" of Centre for introducing Bills/Acts with Hindi names in their titles. "This change is an affront to non-Hindi speaking people and to States that have an official language other than Hindi," Chidambaram said. He added that non-Hindi speaking people cannot identify and pronounce a Bill/Act with titles in Hindi.
