Opposition, BJP win 3 seats each in bypolls; I.N.D.I.A leads in UP's Ghosi

The results of by-polls held in seven Assembly seats were announced on Friday. BJP's Bindu Debnath won in Tripura's Dhanpur, while Congress's Chandy Oommen won in Kerala. BJP's Tafajjal Hossain won in Tripura's Boxanagar and Parwati Dass won Uttarakhand's Bageshwar seat. TMC's Nirmal Chandra Roy won West Bengal's Dhupguri seat, while Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's Bebi Devi won the Dumri bypolls.
